The Golden Fleece is a fantastic pub situated on Duke Street in the heart of Chelmsford. Dating back to at least c1654 The Golden Fleece can boast to being one of the best places in Chelmsford to eat, drink and enjoy yourself!

Food is served daily from 10am-3pm & 5pm-9pm Monday-Friday with the kitchen now open 12-7pm on Saturdays And Sundays.
We now have our fantastic new menu in place with 2 selected meals for £8.00, plus our large plate specials, fresh cooked roasts every Sunday (Just £6.95 inc a selected drink) and our brand new food challenges the Megaburger!

We offer the best value breakfast menu in town and they are available all the time too.
Value Breakfast (egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown, mushrooms, tomato and beans) is just £2.95 and a Large breakfast is £3.95! We now also offer vegetarian options too.

We have a great selection of draught lagers, beers, ales, stout and cider. We have bottled beers from all over the world too! We have a fine selection of spirts with a fine array of Rums, whiskeys and vodkas.

We also offer 6 white, 4 red and 3 rose wines with house wine starting at just £9.50 a bottle!

Cocktails are a big part of what we love doing and currently we offer 20 to choose from! They are great value at £4.50 each or 2 for £6.95, plus every Tuesday & Thursday cocktails are 2-4-1 from 7pm.

We have live music on every week with Dj's every Wednesday night, Thursdays see live music from solos or duos with our famous open mic comedy night the 3rd Thursday of every month. We also have cover bands every Friday & Saturday night.

We also have sky sports on the screens and can boast one of the biggest (and we think best) beer gardens in chelmsford with a screen out there too!
